December 30, 2018 Jim Roche “The edges of Santiago Creek at being changed, and non-native species, including most palm trees, are being cut down. The early rain and snow melt have brought water to different parts of the creek. It flows, you can hear it moving. Then suddenly, as you walk, it disappears again under the surface, perculating up farther down stream. Some paths I walk along in the summer months are under water.”
